Business Services Representative needed for a workforce development program in Detroit. Responsible for connecting job seekers and employers. Ensure participants have appropriate opportunities for work based learning and unsubsidized employment. Develop Work Experience with local employers. Monitor progress on work assignments and assist participants with transition to employment after assignment. Responsible for the development of industry-wide linkages with employers, training needs assessment, and establishing relationships with the business community. Responsible for meeting internal goals for employer contacts, job leads, follow up with employers and job seekers. May facilitate employment related workshops/presentations and assist with job fairs. Excellent communication skills and follow up are a must. Bachelor’s Degree preferred and demonstrated prior work experience. Local travel is required with reimbursement for mileage.
