Grand Canyon University is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Community Standards Coordinator to help foster a safe, respectful, and values-driven campus community. In this role, you will support student growth and accountability by guiding students through the Community Standards process, promoting educational outcomes, and helping uphold the University's policies and expectations. Working collaboratively with students, faculty, Residence Life, Public Safety, and other campus partners, you will play a key role in creating a positive student experience while encouraging personal responsibility, development, and success. Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
1. Serves as one primary community standards coordinator in the Community Standards Process of potential violations of the Community Standards in the University Policy Handbook.
2. Regularly meets with students as part of the Community Standards Process.
3. Maintains conduct files and database(es) on all cases, tracks sanctions and follow-up action and prepares conduct reports.
4. Helps in teaching and/or developing various classes through educational offerings.
5. Collaborates with Residence Life staff and is a liaison to Public Safety and other departments as needed.
6. Assists with other duties as assigned.

May oversee student workers.
Experience/ Education
Minimum one year directly related work experience, preferably in a higher education.
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Must successfully pass a background check.
