We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled Welder 1/Fabrication to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for producing parts conforming to specifications.
Responsibilities

Plug tank orifices in preparation for leak testing

Pressure testing completed weldments for leaks

Basic blueprint reading

Standing for long periods of time

Ability to use various hand and pneumatic tools to perform job duties

Give finished tank an inspection to ensure tank meets customer visual requirements, i.e. weld spatter removed, loose dirt, weld quality/requirements, and that part and feature locations match drawing requirements.

Document all non-conformances through use of tracking system
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience

High School Diploma
-
Experience in weld inspection
Skills:
-
Ability to work overtime when required.

Ability to lift up to 30 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull use both hands to lift and lower materials

Perform all other essential duties
This position is at our Elk Grove Village, IL location.
Pay Range: $16.00-$18.00

The base salary for this role will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, experience, and internal consistency.
