Duties
- Safely operate a sprinter van to deliver cabinet doors to residential or commercial locations following designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of cabinet doors, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery paperwork throughout your shift.
- Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery, addressing questions or concerns with excellent customer service skills.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks preferred.
- Prior delivery driver experience, especially in route driving or courier services, is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Warehouse experience including knowledge of heavy lifting, moving, and equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy cabinet doors repeatedly throughout the day.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
