Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with experience working with plastic materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC lathes, along with expertise in programming, setup, and troubleshooting. Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
- Program CNC machines using CAM software or manual programming methods.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and fixtures for each job.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition.
- Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments as needed to maintain production flow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist.
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC lathes.
- Experience working with plastic materials is required.
- Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
