Part Time Driver needed 2-3 days per week– Retail/Resale Clothing Chain
Greene Street, a 7 store resale chain, is seeking a driver for the Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey region. Please note: We do provide a vehicle and gas for this position. Applicant must be able to get to Conshohocken PA area on work days.
We are looking for a responsible delivery driver to make deliveries between our 7 area retail locations.
We are seeking candidates who are flexible, cheerful with a team player mindset.
This part-time role offers $18 per hour for approximately 15 hours a week across 2-3 days. The schedule has some flexibility and is Monday - Friday.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Must be comfortable driving a transit van.
- Deliver a wide variety of items (many boxes and bags may weigh over 50 lbs) to different addresses and through different routes
- Must be able to lift heavy bags repetitively
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Complete logs and reports as requested
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Effectively communicate with owner and VP
- Represent self and company in a professional manner to both employees and customers
- Candidate must be available Mon-Fri between 8am-6pm
Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Background check will be performed
- Ability to operate a variety of (automatic transmission) vehicles, including a commercial van.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
