Location: on-site opportunity based in either Chicago, IL or Lisle, IL, with regular in-office collaboration and flexibility to work remotely part of the week.
Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and have at least 2 years of civil litigation experience. Plaintiff or defense backgrounds are both welcome. Trial experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description
- Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
- Take and defend depositions and participate in discovery.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients during mediation.
- Appear in court for hearings, motions, and other proceedings.
- Collaborate closely with partners and fellow attorneys on complex litigation matters.
- Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and strategic legal counsel.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Active Illinois Bar license.
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Experience on either the plaintiff or defense side.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Trial experience strongly preferred.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
