We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining the standards of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
- Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
