POSITION
Massage Therapist (LMT) – Full-Time (40 hours/week)
This is a fully in-office position.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Massage Therapist provides therapeutic massage services to children and adults at The Therapy Center of PASCO in a professional, ethical, and compassionate manner. Using therapeutic massage techniques to support comfort, mobility, relaxation, pain management, and overall quality of life while collaborating with an interdisciplinary therapy team. This position is responsible for maintaining all licensure, continuing education, and supervision requirements established by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and reports to the Therapy Center Office Manager.
ABOUT OUR CLIENTS
The Therapy Center of PASCO provides massage therapy services to children and adults with developmental disabilities, complex medical needs, chronic illnesses, and terminal illnesses. Many of our clients receive services through Colorado Medicaid Waiver programs, and our massage therapists work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support each client's health, comfort, functional independence, and overall quality of life.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide therapeutic massage services to clients.

Manage and maintain an assigned client schedule.

Evaluate client needs, abilities, medical history, and functional goals to develop individualized treatment plans.

Utilize massage therapy techniques to reduce muscle tension, relieve contractures and spasms, promote relaxation, and improve function.

Establish therapeutic goals and implement treatment plans to support those goals.

Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.

Collaborate with other therapy disciplines and providers to support each client's overall treatment goals.

Comply with all Therapy Center policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION

Starting pay: $21.20 per hourThis is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Therapists are expected to accept new clients until they reach the average weekly clinical expectation of 21 client session hours per week (subject to change based on organizational needs).

Compensation is based on a blended hourly rate that combines clinical service time and administrative responsibilities into one consistent hourly rate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) licensed through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), Office of Massage Therapy Licensure.

Experience providing therapeutic massage services to children and families.

Experience working with individuals with chronic or terminal illnesses and/or developmental disabilities.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the office(s)

Availability to work evening hours.

Experience working in a pediatric or medical massage setting is preferred.

Knowledge of HIPAA and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to meet the physical demands of working with clients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, and adults.

Ability to safely position oneself to provide massage therapy to clients in a variety of settings, including on the floor, on massage tables, and while working with clients who use wheelchairs.

Ability to lift, carry, transport, and position equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, including portable massage tables.

SCHEDULE
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. The anticipated schedule consists of two days from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, two days from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, and one day from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Schedule may be adjusted based on client needs and business operations.
