Salary: $45,000 – $48,000 per year
Schedule: 5 days per week Monday - Friday (Seasonal Saturday's)
Job Overview
The Umauma Experience is seeking a motivated and experienced Individual to support daily operations at our Visitor Center and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role works closely with the Visitor Center Manager to oversee staff, office administration, guest services, reservations, scheduling, social media efforts, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily Visitor Center operations and support overall company goals
- Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and supervising Visitor Center staff
- Ensure excellent guest service and hospitality standards are maintained
- Coordinate transportation scheduling for cruise ship pickups and off-property tours
- Monitor operational costs, sales tracking, and reporting
- Maintain safety records and ensure compliance with company safety policies
- Assist with group bookings, client site inspections, agreements, and VIP guest requests
- Communicate effectively with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations
- Handle customer inquiries, phone calls, scheduling, and correspondence
- Identify operational issues and recommend solutions or improvements
- Assist with event setup and coordination as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of guest services or hospitality management experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computers and office software
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent guest interaction
