We have an exciting opportunity for a Administrative Assistant to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.
If selected you will:
- The candidate will coordinate service requests for moves, IT equipment, phones, and network drops; maintain EC network and layout files; and ensure accurate EC entries within the JSC Space Utilization Tool. They will help maintain and update the EC Move SharePoint site, manage and distribute moving supplies, and coordinate Work Authorization Documents for moverelated facility changes. Additional duties include submitting and coordinating name plates, scheduling IT onboarding and offboarding requests, assisting with ergonomic assessments, and acting as a liaison between EC IT, Logistics, Division Management, EA13, and administrative personnel. The role will also support new furniture purchases and installation, assist EC points of contact with logistics tasks, and provide document scanning for project and archival needs.

The selected candidate will support EC Division logistics, space management, and personnel move coordination. Primary responsibilities include serving as the EC Alternate Unit Move Coordinator, supporting selfmoves, and coordinating all aspects of office relocations. Duties involve gathering move requirements, documenting assets and furniture needs, collecting room and infrastructure data, preparing areas for moves, monitoring move activities, and ensuring spaces are properly vacated and restored. The role also includes submitting required updates in IDMAX, coordinating with JSC Furniture and Logistics, and supporting continuous process improvements.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and comfort performing limited onsite physical tasks in support of move preparation.

Requires a HS diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
