CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

Operate CT scanners and/or digital X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.

Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures.

Produce high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.

Verify patient information and ensure proper documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS.

Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.

Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational issues.
-
Adhere to all radiation safety standards, infection control policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education.
Qualifications
Required
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
-
Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License.
-
ARRT Certification (Radiography).
-
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
-
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
For CT Technologist Applicants
-
ARRT (CT) Certification.
-
Minimum of one year of CT experience preferred.
-
Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT examinations.
For Radiologic Technologist Applicants
-
Experience in outpatient imaging, urgent care, or hospital settings preferred.
-
Fluoroscopy Permit (if applicable).
