Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on industrial machinery using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and low/high voltage testers to identify faults in electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic systems, hydraulics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components to ensure seamless operation.
- Maintain and repair HVAC/R systems, including refrigerant handling, compressor servicing, and ductwork adjustments.
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify equipment specifications and ensure proper alignment and calibration.
- Read schematics and electrical blueprints accurately to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repairs.
- Support field service operations by providing technical assistance on-site or remotely, ensuring minimal downtime for clients’ equipment.
- Document all maintenance activities meticulously within Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking and compliance purposes.
- Assist with welding tasks ( welding) as needed to repair or fabricate parts for machinery or structural components.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment to prevent failures through proactive maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system failures and implement long-term solutions that improve reliability.
Experience
- Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a focus on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, including electrical troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, and reading schematics.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC programming, and industrial mechanics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and documentation is preferred.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, schematics readers, and other diagnostic tools confidently.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to high voltage work (<HIGH VOLTAGE>) and industrial electrician practices.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively communicate technical information to clients or team members.
- Prior experience in field service roles involving equipment repair across diverse industrial settings will be advantageous.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
