Job Description
We are immediately hiring experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians and motivated Electrical Apprentices for commercial electrical projects in Jenkintown, PA, and surrounding areas.
We are looking for dependable, safety-minded individuals who take pride in their work and can work well as part of a team. Apprentices must be willing to learn and follow instructions.
Responsibilities
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, fixtures, and other electrical equipment
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and job specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial electrical systems
- Follow electrical codes and workplace safety procedures
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently with supervisors and other trades
Journeyman Qualifications
- Commercial electrical experience required
- Ability to work independently and supervise apprentices when needed
- Knowledge of commercial electrical systems and applicable codes
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical plans
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and arrive on time
- Must provide basic electrical hand tools
Apprentice Qualifications
- Electrical or construction experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn the electrical trade
- Ability to follow directions and work safely
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and arrive on time
- Must be able to perform physical construction work
