Director of Dental Operations
Location: Roslyn, NY
About Us
We are a growing, patient-focused dental organization with locations in Long Island and New York City. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Director of Dental Operations to help lead our current practices and play a key role in our future growth.
This position will initially be based in our Roslyn office, where the successful candidate will work closely with ownership to oversee operations, strengthen systems, develop team members, and improve practice performance. As we continue to grow, this individual will help support additional locations throughout Long Island and NYC.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to do more than simply manage an office. We are looking for a builder, a problem solver, and a leader who enjoys creating systems, developing teams, and helping an organization reach its full potential.

This role requires someone who is willing to lead by example and work alongside the team. Initially, this individual will be expected to spend significant time in the Roslyn office, working closely with front desk staff and gaining a complete understanding of our operations before helping expand and implement systems across additional locations.
The right candidate is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, put in the hours necessary to get things done, and take ownership of projects from start to finish.

- Work directly with front desk staff and office leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

- Support and oversee marketing initiatives designed to drive new patient growth and increase patient retention.
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Improve patient experience and team performance through effective leadership and communication.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable dental regulations and office policies.
- Work closely with ownership on growth initiatives, future acquisitions, and expansion opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of dental management experience.
- Experience managing multiple dental practices is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental practice operations, scheduling, insurance verification, treatment presentation, collections, and patient communication.
- Experience managing front desk teams and office managers.
- Proven experience developing systems, processes, and accountability measures.
- Experience overseeing or participating in dental marketing initiatives.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
