We are looking to employ dedicated candidate as a valued member of our motivated staff that works as part of a collaborative team to give the best form of care to our patients. We are currently looking for X Ray technician whose skill sets and qualifications are in alignment with our requirements, and have ample experience from other institutions that makes them knowledgeable and professional. As a member of our team, you will be expected to uphold the values of our institution, conduct yourself in a professional manner, and be the best representative of our and your own name.
- Be able to operate relevant machinery and radiologic technologies
- Know the proper height, distancing, and positioning for radiologic procedures
- Be able to communicate effectively with patients and answer their questions in a professional and reassuring manner
- Be able to follow the safety guidelines and regulations properly
- Have adequate background knowledge and experiencePrepare patients before the procedure and cater to them after
- Prepare the relevant equipment, tools, and examination rooms for use
- Communicate with the patients at all times and explain the procedure to them before conducting
- Answer patient questions and queries
- Conduct the imaging exams and monitor the patients through the process
- Ensure the safety of the patient before, during, and after the exam
- Follow Covid-19 guidelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an x ray technician (references required)
- Excels at communicating with a team and has strong interpersonal skills
- Responsible and compassionate with patients
- Able to multitask with strong organizational skills
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills
- Associates degree or certification in radiologic studies, radiologic technology, or other relevant fields
- A valid license or certification
- Knowledge and experience in clinical settings such as during operations and when dealing with patients in terms of communication and safety
