Responsibilities
- Lead installation teams to execute projects efficiently, safely, and to exact specifications
- Install various systems and equipment with precision, including electrical components using tools like ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality
- Conduct thorough site assessments prior to installation to identify potential challenges and plan accordingly
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members to coordinate schedules and address any on-site issues promptly
- Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, including measurements, test results, and completion reports
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently during every phase of installation
- Train and mentor junior installers, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on quality and safety
Experience
- Proven experience in installation roles within relevant industries such as electrical, audiovisual, or construction fields
- Strong technical skills including the ability to use ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits and components
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience guiding or supervising team members on job sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for working at heights, with electrical systems, or in confined spaces is preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions clearly and accurately
