Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. Experience is preferred by not required; willing to train. In this role, you will support ophthalmologists by providing high-quality patient care and assisting with patient workups. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate diagnostic testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary eye exams, including visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and diagnostic testing.
- Prepare patients for examination.
- Accurately record patient medical histories and test results
- Operate and maintain ophthalmic diagnostic equipment
- Administer prescribed eye medications under supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
