Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial driving, with the ability to operate various types of trucks and trailers. This role involves delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties
- Operate tractor-trailers with manual or automatic transmission across local-regional routes
- Drive 53 foot trailers
- 60 % drop and hook, 40% live load or unload
- Deliver freight to multiple locations, following assigned routes and schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records
- Comply with all federal, state, and company safety regulations during operation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Experience operating manual and or automatic transmission trucks and trailers
- Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on freight handling and route driving
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers
- Experience with tractor-trailer operations in diverse environments is preferred
- Ability to perform truck inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service skills
