Full time draftsman proficient in CAD/Revit. Opportunity for hybrid workplace. Applicant must meet the following requirements:
Develop architectural design layouts and drawings from sketches and architectural drawings provided by designers, architects and engineers
Develop construction documents for construction
Coordination of drawing production activities for submittal process
Assist in the quality checking of drafted product and conformance with drawings, specifications, and in house take offs and proposals, proper construction design standards and project specific requirements
Collaborate professionally both internally and externally with fellow team members, contractors, material suppliers and architects
Manage multiple projects concurrently
Qualifications required for position:
Two years minimum of CAD drafting experience in architectural or related field
Two year technical or Associate's Degree (or higher) , or CAD certification or equivalent work experience. (A CAD test will be administered at the time of the interview)
Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, surveyors, architects and contractors
High proficiency in AutoCad/Revit
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Strong organizational, technical and communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision within or within a team environment
Fundamental working knowledge of architectural drawings, detailing, and drafting of solutions to basic info provided by design team
Salary is commensurate with experience, skill set and proficiency.
Remote work is possible for the right candidate, however, mandatory meetings to coordinate work in the office will be required.
