Edgy Petal Jewelry is looking for a confident, sharp, and highly organized salesperson who is friendly and enjoys speaking to people.
This is not pushy sales.
Boutique buyers hate that and it never works anyway!
The best people in this role are naturally warm, curious, and confident. They start conversations, introduce our jewelry line, and are excellent about following up and being consistent and organized.
What you'll do:
- Call and email boutique owners and sales clerks from call lists, as well as from your own research and ideas of which boutiques need to know about us
- Introduce them to the Edgy Petal jewelry line and share our wholesale website links and ways to order
- Be open and curious to hear about their store, their customers and unique challenges
- Log all your activity and notes in our CRM program Pipedrive as you work in an orderly and detailed way
- Have twice weekly check in’s via Zoom to touch base on sales and go over strategy
Compensation:
- Base pay of $14 per hour, 30 hours per week plus monthly commission. Base pay = $1,680 per month.
- MONTHLY Commission structure:
- When you reach $8,000 in sales, you get 7% commission ($560+ on top of base)
- When you reach $10,000 in sales, you get 10% commission ($1,000+ on top of base)
- When you reach $12,000 in sales, you get 15% commission ($1,800+ on top of base)
- When you reach $18,000 in sales, you get 20% commission ($3,600+ on top of base)
- You’ll be an employee of Edgy Petal, not a contractor so you don’t have to pay extra self-employment taxes like you may in other sales jobs.
