Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to oversee residential remodeling projects from client contact through final completion. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with hands-on construction knowledge. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple active projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
This position requires someone who can coordinate people, materials, schedules, and jobsite activity while maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and Be Blessed Remodeling's leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Client Interaction & Estimates
- Conduct on-site project assessments and take accurate measurements
- Meet with clients to discuss and verify project scope and jobsite conditions
- Adjust estimates as needed, adding or removing line items and changes in cost as needed
- Communicate findings and recommended adjustments to Be Blessed Remodeling's staff
- Communicate project details, updates, and scheduling with clients
- Explain scope adjustments clearly and professionally
- Maintain consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Keep clients informed of start dates, schedules, deliveries, and progress updates
Scheduling & Project Coordination
- Schedule and manage project timelines from start to completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and specialty trades
- Schedule material orders, deliveries, pickups, and equipment rentals
- Ensure all job phases are properly planned and sequenced
- Manage multiple active projects simultaneously
Jobsite Management & Oversight
- Oversee daily and ongoing jobsite activity
- Ensure work is performed according to scope, quality standards, and timelines
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Maintain jobsite safety and compliance with building standards
Blueprints & Technical Review
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Verify materials, labor needs, and technical requirements based on site conditions
- Identify potential issues and propose solutions for approval by leadership
Problem Solving & Decision Support
- Identify project issues and develop solutions
- Present recommendations to leadership for final approval when required
- Adapt schedules and workflows to keep projects moving efficiently
Documentation & Project Tracking
- Track scope changes, schedules, and job progress
- Ensure clear communication between clients, subcontractors, and leadereship
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in construction or remodeling project management
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
- Experience managing multiple active projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing ability
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries
- Ability to evaluate jobsite conditions and adjust project scope accordingly
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to job sites and client meetings as needed
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
- Familiarity with permitting and inspection processes
