Local landscaping company currently looking for an Administrative Assistant. Candidate will be essential in supporting daily office operations and enhancing organizational efficiency. . The position reports to the Office Manager, and the role involves utilizing core skills in customer service and computer literacy to manage communications and assist with administrative tasks. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, in order to support the data collection and analysis, as well as document/report preparation. Must be able to work with a team and independently.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones, taking messages, directing calls, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
- Scheduling: Organizing and maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining filing systems, databases, and other records.
- Document Management: Preparing correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents.
- Office Support: Assisting with general office tasks such as ordering supplies, preparing presentations, and handling expense reports.
- Team Support: Providing support to other team members with administrative tasks and projects.
- Organization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong computer skills with a focus on clerical and administrative tasks.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in data entry, filing, and calendar management.
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems and provide effective phone etiquette.
- Organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management.
Schedule: 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $22/hr
