Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements, using appropriate hand tools and schematics.
- Conduct electrical work such as wiring repairs, circuit troubleshooting with an ohmmeter, and electrical equipment maintenance to uphold safety standards.
- Maintain HVAC systems by diagnosing issues, replacing filters, repairing compressors or fans, and ensuring energy efficiency.
- Carry out carpentry tasks including repairs to doors, cabinets, drywall, and other interior fixtures; perform painting as needed for touch-ups or renovations.
- Supervise or assist with facilities equipment maintenance projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to resident maintenance requests and communicating clearly about repair timelines.
- Lead or support team efforts in maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the property’s interior spaces.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in residential maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
- Proficiency with hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools.
- Experience with HVAC system repair including diagnosing issues and performing routine maintenance.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) procedures.
- Electrical experience with wiring repairs, circuit troubleshooting, and electrical safety standards.
