Perfect Care is seeking dynamic and reliable Direct Care Staff
Purpose : (Direct Care Staff ) provides necessary instructions to clients so as to assist them with maintaining their independence and safety in the community.
What are the duties of a Direct Care Staff ?
-Ensuring safety and well-being of each patient in alignment with care plan.
-Promoting development of healthy lifestyle to meet health and wellness objectives.
-Documenting entries on log sheets and calendars to accurately report patient daily progress.
-Coaching and Assisting Client with Activities of Daily Living Skills to maintain a clean and orderly environment. (Meal planning and preparation, shopping, housekeeping, transporting to appointments (e.g., changing linens, washing dishes, vacuuming/dusting, laundry, mending clothing repairs), basic household tasks (e.g., regulating home temperature, storing food appropriately, resolving issues about bill paying).
-Ability to develop and maintain cooperative, professional relationships with clients, other staff and community supports.
(Hours of work will vary according to the recovery plan) Between 8:30AM -5:00PM
Qualifications:
- Must posses at least a high school diploma or GED.
- Must Possess a valid Connecticut driver’s license and reliable form of transportation.
- RA Certification is a plus.
