Overview
We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently in various environments. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems and providing excellent service to our clients.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Repair and replace components such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
- Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical components.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and construction practices.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Field service experience with a focus on customer satisfaction is essential.
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
