OREQA Technologies is a lean, high-ownership startup manufacturing operation producing industrial products for demanding markets. Assembly Technicians are the backbone of production. This role is critical to our zero-defect culture and first-pass quality leadership. The successful candidate will own multi-station assembly operations, catch defects before they ship, and support the entire production team.
Company Stage & Culture
We are a startup. You will wear multiple hats. We don't have silos. If incoming material needs staging, if the cell is backing up, if QA needs to troubleshoot an issue, if we need to pack an order, you roll up your sleeves. Our north star: Zero quality defects. Every product. First-pass quality.

o Report safety concerns and material/tooling issues proactively
o Support new product ramp and process refinement
CORE QUALIFICATIONS (Must-Have)
Manufacturing & Assembly Experience
o 2–5 years hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
o Multi-station capability (ability to set up, run, and quality-check different assembly processes)
o Blueprint/work instruction literacy (can read and follow assembly drawings, torque specs, part numbers)
o Quality-first mindset (understands that first-pass quality saves rework, scrap, and customer issues)
Technical Skills
o Hand tools proficiency: Screwdrivers, wrenches, torque wrenches, calipers, measuring tapes
o Assembly tasks: Subassembly builds, mechanical fastening, electrical connections (crimping, soldering basics)
o Basic troubleshooting: Can identify common assembly defects and communicate issues clearly
o Test/verification basics: Can perform simple continuity checks, visual inspection, functional verification
Work Ethic & Attitude

o Documentation discipline: Understands traceability, serial numbers, lot tracking
o Problem-solver: Sees issues as opportunities to improve; doesn't ignore warnings
o Safety-first mentality: Understands that proper assembly prevents accidents and returns
Language Requirement (Preferred)
o Bilingual Spanish/English – fluent speaking & reading
o Helpful for peer communication, understanding Spanish-language work instructions, safety briefings
