JOB SUMMARY
The Field Inspector plays a critical role in supporting project quality and customer satisfaction by performing job site inspections, identifying issues, and ensuring installation standards are met. This position is responsible for evaluating work in the field, communicating required adjustments, and coordinating updates with builders, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Success in this role means job site inspections are completed accurately, quality standards are maintained, and communication of issues and updates supports timely project completion.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete pre-installation and post-installation inspections of job sites.

Inspect products and installations for warranty-related issues.

Evaluate subcontractor work to ensure quality installation standards are met.

Complete production documentation, inspection reports, and job site write-ups.

Identify and communicate required adjustments or corrections on job sites.

Communicate updates, changes, and findings with builders, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Follow and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of construction experience related to installation, inspections, or quality assurance.

Previous experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company motor vehicle record standards at time of hire and throughout employment.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis without restriction.
-
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to support training, coordination, and project updates.
-
Basic math skills sufficient to record measurements, calculate fractions and percentages, convert square footage, and understand basic financial transactions.
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working with construction interior products and builder superintendents.

Experience using construction management software or related applications.

Mobility: Frequently required to stand for extended periods and move throughout job sites to access materials, installations, and inspection areas.

Manual Dexterity: Frequently handles tools, materials, and documentation during inspections and site evaluations.

Vision: Ability to visually inspect products and installations and identify differences in quality and workmanship.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job Site/Field: Work is primarily performed at active construction job sites with exposure to outdoor conditions, seasonal weather, and varying terrain.

Office/Facility: May include time in office or warehouse environments to complete documentation and coordinate activities.

Operational Demands: Role may require meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment to support project timelines.

Safety: Requires adherence to all company safety policies and procedures and use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
