American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a STEMI center, requiring ACLS certification and a MO or compact RN license.

Work in the Cath Lab of a STEMI center
-
Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab and EP lab settings
-
Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
On-call responsibilities 1-2 times per week
-
Weekend coverage required approximately one weekend per month

Blocked scheduling will be considered

Epic charting system experience preferred
-
Active RN license (MO or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS preferred

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience required

Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, cardiac stent placement, ASD closures, and cardiac implant closure devices

Experience with left and right heart catheterization

IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, rotablator atherectomy, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring experience preferred

Ability to scrub for procedures is highly preferred

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Provide nursing care in a STEMI center supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
