Automotive Refinish Technician

We’re looking for an experienced Automotive Refinish Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality, factory-like finishes and wants to build a career with a dependable, team-focused company.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare all parts and panels for refinishing, including adjacent blend panels.
- Sand surfaces for primer and paint application.
- Properly mask and protect vehicles and surrounding panels.
- Apply primer and block panels to achieve a smooth, level finish.
- Mix and apply primers, sealers, basecoats, and clear coats according to manufacturer procedures.
- Blend panels as needed to ensure an accurate color match.
- Inspect completed work for color, texture, coverage, and overall quality.
- Use finishing abrasives, sanding products, buffers, and compounds to refine painted surfaces.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards.
- Work collaboratively with technicians and production team members to keep repairs moving efficiently.
Qualifications
- At least two years of automotive refinishing experience or relevant vocational training.
- Knowledge of automotive paint preparation, application, blending, and polishing techniques.
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality work with close attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and manage parts weighing more than 50 pounds and regularly stand, squat, kneel, and bend.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
