Director of Business Development
The Shift by SaSS | Safe + Sound Somerset
Location: Hybrid (Somerset County, NJ) Salary: $65,000–$75,000 + performance incentives
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Safe + Sound Somerset is launching The Shift by SaSS, a fee-for-service training and consulting practice rooted in trauma-informed organizational change. We are hiring a Director of Business Development to drive earned-revenue growth across education, healthcare, corporate, and nonprofit sectors.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage an institutional sales pipeline
- Lead the full sales cycle from outreach to signed contract
- Develop customized proposals and pricing
- Support renewals, repeat engagements, and long-term partnerships
- Track revenue progress and report to leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, or consulting
- Experience closing complex or institutional contracts
- Strong communication, relationship management, and proposal skills
- Comfort with revenue targets and CRM tools
- Alignment with Safe + Sound Somerset’s mission and values
