Responsibilities for Auto Dismantler:
- Disassemble vehicles safely and efficiently using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Identify and extract salvageable parts such as engines, transmissions, and body panels, adhering to established procedures.
- Inspect parts for quality, functionality, and potential resale value, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Dispose of unusable materials and fluids in compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage of tools and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking parts and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Continuously improve dismantling processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements for Auto Dismantler:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in auto dismantling or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for vehicle disassembly. Accurate identification and extraction of salvageable parts.
- Knowledge: Understanding of automotive systems and components, especially BMW models. Familiarity with various vehicle makes and models is advantageous.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety protocols and practices, including proper PPE usage.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for part inspection, labeling, and organization.
- Environmental Compliance: Knowledge of environmental regulations and company policies for proper disposal.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet production targets.
- Communication: Clear communication skills for following instructions and reporting issues.
