Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing cash and card transactions efficiently
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
- Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and process cash transactions with accuracy
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment and managing food handling procedures in compliance with food safety management practices
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, serving, and handling food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to engaging with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing sales accurately
- Experience working in a restaurant or café environment that emphasizes sanitation, safety, and quick service
