Role Overview
The D472 Administrative Aide will provide support for multiple Engineering groups and a Technical Writing Group.
Key Responsibilities

Distribution (Electronic and Hard Copy)

Database Maintenance
-
Utilize XML and SGML to format technical manuals

Technical Manual Updating
-
LAR Processing
-
Typing Correspondences
The successful candidate will have well developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. They should demonstrate strong prioritization skills, ensuring tasks and projects are completed efficiently. A commitment to customer service is essential, along with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Additionally, excellent organizational and facilitation skills are required.
Qualifications:
Required

High School Diploma or GED
-
1-4 years of administrative experience in an office setting

Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the DoD
Preferred

Experience with SGML, XML and HTML
-
Knowledge of other software (Access, Adobe Acrobat)

Experience editing/proofing
Skills:
- Typing net speed of at least 45 words per minute
