We are a private Physical Therapy practice in Los Angeles, CA and are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to operate our front desk and represent our practice with professionalism and empathy. The appropriate candidate will have the opportunity to grow within the practice and should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and attention to detail.
The Front Office Receptionist role is responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, as well as patient intake tasks and procedures that support an exceptional patient experience.
This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a continuously growing Physical Therapy practice and work alongside our physical therapist, therapy aids and all administrative staff. This is a fast-paced role that calls for the ability to multitask, think on your feet and work independently under the guidance of managerial staff.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Handle patient calls and effectively manage scheduling appointments.
- Manage all facets of patient intake and collection of patient demographics.
- Collect patient payments.
- Greet patients immediately upon their arrival and provide excellent customer service.
- Confirm appointments.
- Effectively handle telephone inquiries.
- Assist with insurance verification.

- Ability to handle heavy phone work and provide top-notch service.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Prior medical/healthcare office experience needed
