Traveling Retail Manager

Wandering Cowboys is a fast-growing western wear retailer with multiple locations across the San Antonio area. We’re looking for a dependable, high-energy team member to help run our warehouse operations and hit the road as part of our traveling rodeo retail team.
This is not your typical retail role. This position blends behind-the-scenes operations with front-line sales at some of the biggest rodeo events across the country.
Travel Requirement:
Seasonal travel throughout the United States from July through mid-October is required.
What You’ll Do
Rodeo & Event Operations
- Load and unload merchandise, fixtures, and equipment for events
- Travel to rodeos and major events across the U.S.
- Set up and break down retail booths (think: building a store from the ground up, then packing it back into a trailer)
- Merchandise displays in a way that drives sales and captures attention
- Work the sales floor during events and deliver top-tier customer service
Team & Store Support
- Execute opening and closing procedures at events
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment
- Day to day sales, management and merchandising between our store locations as needed
- Collaborate with leadership on product placement and selling strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and a “get it done” mindset
- Ability to lift, move, and load merchandise and fixtures
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable with travel and long event days
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Retail, warehouse, or event experience is a plus (but not required)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
