Campi Dental is a four-generation, family-owned practice serving the Jersey Shore community since 1933 and is looking for a Director of Patient Experience to anchor our front desk team and elevate every touchpoint of the patient journey.
This is not a receptionist role. This is a leadership seat.
Job Overview
As Director of Patient Experience, you will be the anchor of our front desk — the person who sets the tone, leads the team, and ensures every patient feels known, valued, and cared for from first call to final checkout.
Duties
- The master schedule - managing production goals and block scheduling across all providers
- The morning huddle - leading daily team alignment and accountability
- The new patient experience - from first contact through first visit
- The unscheduled and reactivation list - proactively filling the schedule with purpose
- Front desk leadership - serving as the first point of escalation and the cultural anchor of the administrative team
- Practice initiative communication to the front desk team
This role reports directly to practice leadership and works closely with our VP of Operations and VP Marketing & Community Affairs.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of dental front desk experience - required
- Demonstrated leadership experience - you have led people, not just managed tasks
- Proficiency in Dentrix
- Strong understanding of dental scheduling, insurance, and patient financial conversations
- Exceptional communication skills - with patients, with the clinical team, and with leadership
- A natural ability to build relationships and make patients feel at home

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
