Overview
Franco Associates is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting construction materials safely and efficiently to various construction sites. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of manual transmission vehicles, including tractor-trailers and low-boy. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive various types of manual transmission trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and low-boy.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with the warehouse manager regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.
- Ensure cargo is adequately secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Utilize manual transmission when required for specific vehicle operations.
Skills
- Proficient in driving manual transmission fleet vehicles, including low-boy trailers and dump trucks.
- Experience with route driving and understanding of logistics operations.
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks as needed.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to freight transportation.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges on the road.
- Attention to detail in maintaining vehicle logs and documentation.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
