Full time Technician / Inspector 2 wanted for manufacturing firm. The Technician / Inspector 2 prepares incoming jobs for welding and outgoing jobs for shipping. This role requires advanced inspection and setup skills. Must be able to multitask. Must be flexible and willing to learn other tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unpackage and clean incoming parts
- Follow process travelers and pull weld logs and tooling
- Use of the following: profi tacker, microscope, pressure bombs, demagnetizer, gross leak tank, mass spectrometer, vapor degreaser
- Cut and etch weld specimens
- Set up jobs for welders as per instructions
- Assist welders during the welding process
- Clean and repackage parts after welding
- Rebuild EB guns
Required Competencies:
- Ability to meet customer and EBI’s qualification requirements for inspectors
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours a day
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
