Job Title: System Administrator – Inflight Systems Operations
Position Overview:
This role supports next-generation inflight systems, contributing to innovative projects that advance the digital transformation of the airline industry.
Based at a Japanese airline’s Silicon Valley Lab, you’ll collaborate with engineering and operations teams to monitor, maintain, and improve network reliability.
We’re seeking a hands-on IT professional who can manage daily monitoring, testing, and documentation to ensure stable and compliant system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
System Operations & Monitoring:
- Monitor network and server performance using dashboards and log tools.
- Manage configuration updates, firmware versions, and change tracking.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct reliability and functionality testing for system updates.
- Analyze operational data to identify recurring issues.
Documentation & Coordination:
- Maintain procedures, configuration records, and audit-ready documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and Japan.
Requirements:
- 0–3 years in IT operations, QA, or system administration.
- Knowledge of Network and Linux or similar systems.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- English fluency required
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with reliability tracking or automated testing.
Work Environment:
Based at a Japanese airline’s Silicon Valley Lab in Palo Alto, CA, collaborating globally.
