Northern Craft Construction is hiring carpenters with residential remodeling experience. We’re looking for someone who works clean, communicates well, and can handle day-to-day carpentry tasks with confidence.

Responsibilities
Carpentry & Installation
- Perform demo safely and cleanly
- Complete framing and structural adjustments
- Hang, tape, and finish drywall
- Install trim, baseboard, and casing
- Install cabinets, vanities, mirrors, lights, and fans
- Assist with general renovations, punch work, and project prep
- Tile experience preferred but not required
Jobsite Quality & Workflow
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow written scopes and daily instructions
- Communicate material needs, updates, and jobsite issues as they come up
- Work at a steady, professional pace
- Protect client homes and maintain clean work habits in occupied spaces
Team Collaboration
- Work respectfully with supervisors, helpers, and homeowners
- Follow processes and take direction well
- Show up on time and represent the company professionally
Requirements
Must Have:
- Residential remodeling experience with strong carpentry skills
- Strong English communication skills, including reading scopes, writing simple updates, and speaking clearly with supervisors and homeowners
- Reliable transportation with a truck
- Ability to pass a background check
- Good attitude, strong work ethic, and steady attendance
- Ability to work clean and stay organized
- Ability to follow a scope without constant oversight
- A smartphone and the ability to use basic apps for time tracking, job updates, and communication (trainable if needed)
Preferred (Not Required):
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30am–4:00pm
- Year-round work
- Projects stay within Anne Arundel County
