Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school
- 8–10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
- Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations applicable to mechanical engineering design for nuclear power plants
- Working knowledge of Nuclear Quality Assurance Standards
Preferred Skills
- Experience with engineering change control processes used by nuclear power generation utilities
- Experience developing design modification packages for mechanical systems and components in nuclear facilities
Job Responsibilities
- Develop design modification packages for mechanical systems and components for nuclear power plants
- Apply applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements to mechanical design work
- Support design changes in accordance with nuclear quality assurance requirements
- Implement engineering change control processes for mechanical system modifications
