Position Summary
The City of Dania Beach is committed to employing a talented and diverse workforce. We are currently seeking a Recreation Assistant (Events) who will monitor a recreation facility or other municipal recreation activities as assigned. The candidate will assist in organizing and coordinating various segments of municipal recreation programs and services. The person within this classification serves assigned municipal recreation facilities or assigned recreation programs and works in accordance with established guidelines, policies, procedures and instructions. The Recreation Assistant – Events will provide assistance in recreational and educational activities and programs and special events. Work assignments could vary daily based on operational needs.
