Central Arizona Supply is looking for a motivated and driven Warehouse Associate for our Phoenix, AZ branch. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for unloading, receiving, and organizing product. This position is also responsible for the security, safety, and cleanliness of all warehouse and outside storage of products. Central Arizona Supply will train for responsibilities associated with position.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments; check for damage.
- Perform product put-away, restocking, and stock rotation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and address overstock issues.
- Tag and properly store sold products in designated areas.
- Use warehouse equipment to move and store product.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Notifies Vendor & Purchasing of shipping discrepancies.
- Ensures all vendor paperwork is turned into Accounting (Packing Slip, BOL, Pre-Receiver, Back Order/Fill, Receipts Report).
- Retrieve orders from warehouse quickly and accurately.
- Assist in physical inventory counts.
- Prepare FedEx, UPS, and freight packages for shipment.
Requirements
- Basic inventory control and put away experience.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials up to 90 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Plumbing & appliance product experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
