Purpose of the Position:

The Research Scientist VI will be involved in software design and development and engineering projects for various customers. The incumbent will develop software for scientific and engineering projects for various customers in data and applications.

Duties / Responsibilities

Software development for scientific and engineering projects for various customers in data and applications.
Software design for scientific and engineering projects for various customers in data and applications.
Mentor entry-level and junior-level staff members.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience
8 - 9.5 years of full-time verifiable work experience
Excellent communication skills
Moderate to advance technical knowledge

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Science or Engineering is preferred
Prior experience in Science, Engineering, or a related area

$49.66 - $63.58 per hour
