Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting forms, placing, and finishing concrete. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects, from residential, commercial, and public projects. Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specs to complete a project.
- Prepare and set forms for walls, slabs, and footings.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
- Place and finis concrete using proper tools and methods.
- Install rebar (reinforcing steel) and formwork to reinforce concrete structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Perform concrete cutting, grinding, caulking, and sealing to achieve desired finishes and durability.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials, disposing of waste, and adhering to construction workplace safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation (including concrete mixers and pumps), and safety protocols in construction environments.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to material quantities and project timelines is a plus.
- Familiarity with rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring techniques, and finishing methods.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing scaffolds or ladders, and performing manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid experience with heavy equipment operation including cranes or forklifts is advantageous.
- Commitment to construction site safety regulations with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
