What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
· Support 1st Party Insurance litigation – intake through trial, including claim file review, policy analysis, and evidence organization
· Manage discovery – coordinate document production, review incoming materials, and communicate with clients, adjusters, and experts.
· Drafting & litigation support – prepare pleadings, demand letters, deposition summaries, and trial binders.
· Property Tax case assistance – organize valuation evidence, track hearings, and prepare filings.
· Real Estate Transactions support – assist with closing documents, title review, and file organization.
· Trial preparation – coordinate exhibits, witnesses, and courtroom logistics.
· Maintain professional communication with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications
· 2-5 years of litigation paralegal experience; insurance litigation preferred.
· Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-moving docket.
· Strong understanding of Texas State court procedures; federal experience a plus.
· Proficiency with e-filing, case management systems, and Microsoft Office.
· Excellent writing, organization, and multitasking skills.
· Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
· Competitive salary: $70,000 - $90,000, consistent with current Houston market rates for mid-level litigation paralegals.
