Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and supporting process improvements across procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance. This role is crucial for ensuring our supply chain remains cost-effective, efficient, and customer focused.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor supply chain data to identify areas of improvement and cost savings.
- Maintain dashboards and reports for inventory levels, purchase orders, supplier performance, and fulfillment rates for all sites like AVTECH, Ireland and Mirian.
- Work closely with procurement and operations to optimize order quantities, lead times, and stock levels.
- Track and report on inbound/outbound shipments, freight costs, and delivery accuracy.
- Support the development of demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonality, and customer trends.
- Identify and escalate risks in supply availability, delays, or capacity constraints.
- Assist with system updates, process documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or service failures.
· Collaborates with other departments to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
· Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
· Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production and sales.
- Works with AVTECH in Ireland; Mirian Solutions; Fulfilment and Accounting to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
· Works with transportation companies to set best route and rate while reviewing and approving all shipping terms and agreements.
· Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
· Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain spend and improve on-time delivery.
· Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.

Qualifications:

· College degree or working toward degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
· 2+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory, procurement, or logistics roles.
· Strong analytical and Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) a plus.
· Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.).
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Clear communicator, comfortable in small teams and cross-functional environments.
Requirements:
· Courteous, professional demeanor and orientation.
· Ability to establish and maintain positive, productive working relationships with diverse staff.
· Working knowledge of and experience with computers, including word processing, web browsers and electronic communication applications. Working knowledge of spreadsheet and database software is a plus.
· Ability to multi-task, handle interruptions, and re-prioritize tasks to meet on-going deadlines throughout the day.
· Effective oral and written business English skills; knowledge of English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation; accurate typing skills.
· Demonstrated record of good work attendance and reliability.
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
