General Rental Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our team as a Service / Delivery Driver.
This is a hands-on position that combines equipment maintenance, customer service, and local deliveries. If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy working with equipment, and don't mind getting your hands dirty, we'd like to talk to you!
Job Duties Include:
- Delivering and picking up rental equipment at customer locations
- Safely loading, securing, and unloading equipment
- Showing customers the basic operation of rental equipment
- Inspecting equipment when it leaves and returns
- Cleaning and preparing equipment for the next rental
- Performing basic maintenance and minor repairs
- Troubleshooting equipment problems
- Helping maintain an organized shop and yard
- Assisting customers with loading and unloading equipment
- Helping the service department as needed
What We're Looking For:
✅ Valid driver's license and good driving record
✅ Dependable and on time
✅ Mechanically inclined
✅ Comfortable driving a truck and pulling trailers
✅ Able to safely load, secure, and unload equipment
✅ Good customer service skills
✅ Able to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Willing to work indoors and outdoors
✅ Small-engine, equipment, automotive, construction, or mechanical experience is a plus
Experience with rental equipment is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Full-Time & Part-Time positions available.
Pay based on experience
