Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure peak performance.
- Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various appliances and mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management, prioritizing urgent repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and system status updates.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects such as construction or equipment upgrades to ensure safety standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience maintaining kitchen equipment, HVAC systems (including air conditioning), and other mechanical devices.
- Experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures across diverse equipment types.
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when addressing maintenance issues.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus.
- Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior technicians or team members during complex repairs or projects.
